About the Outlaws

The Outlaws program has a reputation for excellence that has been developing players since the early 2000’s. Based in Benicia, CA our teams are comprised of players from both Sonoma and Solano Counties and beyond. We take pride in our players, coaches and managers that consistently strive to compete at the highest level and represent the community with pride and sportsmanship.

Outlaws learn softball fundamentals, leadership and teamwork, all while making lifelong friendships  and memories! We instill the highest degree of sportsmanship and citizenship to all our players and  their families while they master and compete in the game of softball at the highest level. 

Our teams are comprised of experienced players looking to be challenged both physically and mentally at the highest level. They compete in PGF, ASA, USA , Legacy and AST tournaments.

Division Age Eligibility

Team Classifications

 For 2024 we will be offering three complete Outlaw programs our Outlaw- Black (competitive “A” classification), our Outlaws-Red (competitive “B” classification), and our Outlaws- All Stars (recreation travel/ “C” classification)

WHAT IS OUR Outlaw-Black PROGRAM?

  • What is Outlaw-Black?
    • These teams are comprised of experienced players looking to be challenged both physically and mentally at the highest level. They will compete in PGF, ASA, USA and AST tournaments with an “A” classification.
  • When is the season?
    • Tryout’s will be held in August.
  • Who is the Outlaw-Black season for?
    • Our gold team is for girls in the 8U-14U divisions experienced players looking to be challenged both physically and mentally at the highest level.
  • Is Outlaw-Black recommended for beginner players?
    • No; Outlaw Gold players should have experience playing at a competitive level. 

WHAT IS OUR OUTLAW-Red & All Stars PROGRAM?

  • What is Outlaws-Red/All Stars?
    • The Outlaw program is open to registered BFP players (current season) who are interested in improving their softball skills beyond regular (recreational) season instruction. They will compete in ASA, USA and AST tournaments as well as local scrimmages.
  • When is Outlaws-Red/All Stars?
    • Outlaw season try-outs are towards end of Spring recreational season. Tournaments are held after regular recreational play. Expect to play in several (3-7) tournaments throughout the Summer.
  • Who is the Outlaw-Red/All Stars season for?
    • Outlaws is for girls in the 8U-14U divisions who are interested in improving the current sill levels. This level of play is for girls who haven't yet made the transition to "A" classification (travel) and/or are interested in the possibility of trying to push themselves further. 
  • Is there an additional cost?
    • While there isn't a predetermined cost for Outlaws, the season is a separate season and IS it's own cost. Additionally, our managers may require additional fees
  • Is Outlaws-Red/All Stars recommended for beginner players?
    • Outlaws is not recommended for girls who are not comfortable with more competitive play and a schedule that is more demanding. 
  • Are there any requirements?
    • Yes. Those interested in playing MUST have played a minimum of 75% of BFP’s scheduled games during the current recreational season. Failure to do so will result in disqualification. Additionally, you can review our rules/constitution for further information.
