If you are curious what the season will look like for your family, look no further. Each division has a different time commitment designed around the age of the players. Each registered player will receive: (1) Personalized Jersey; (1) Pair of Socks; *new* (1) Personalized sweatshirt; and (1) team picture.
Also *new* this season each team will also receive (4) reimbursable background checks & ACE Certifications for Managers & additional team staff.
PeeWee Division
(Ages 3-4)
The BFP PeeWee Division offers a non-competitive softball introduction for girls aged 3-4 years old (based on your child's age as of January 1st, 2025). Practices will start a few weeks prior to opening day with an average of 2 clinics per week, through Closing Day. No experience is necessary, we will teach the basic fundamentals and have fun. Girls will hit off a tee, learn how to run bases and how to catch and throw a ball. They will also be introduced to guest coaches throughout the season brought in by the league to introduce the players to new skills. This division uses safety softballs which are soft and have a sponge center.

Rookie Division
(Ages 5-6)
The BFP Rookie Division offers non-competitive softball for girls ages 5-6 years old based on your child's age as of January 1st, 2025. No experience is necessary, we will teach the basic fundamentals. Girls will hit off a tee or coach pitch. This division uses Safety softballs which are soft and have a sponge center. Practices will start a few weeks prior to opening day and an average of 1 game will be played per week plus 2 practices per week, through Closing Day.
*All players will be placed on teams based on age and prior playing experience. We will do our best to create even teams.

Farm Division
(Ages 7-8)
The BFP Farm Division offers non-competitive softball for girls ages 7-8 years old based on your child's age as of January 1st, 2025. No experience is necessary, we will teach basic fundamentals and more. The Farm division takes the skills that the players learned in the Rookie division and takes them to the next level. The Farm division will be primarily coach pitch, however, our goal is to introduce girls to pitching and hitting off of each other. Practices will start a few weeks prior to opening day and an average of 2 games will be played per week plus 2 practices per week, through Closing Day.
*The players will have to attend a mandatory evaluation and all players will be drafted by the team managers.

Junior Division
(Ages 9-10)
The BFP Junior Division offers quality, encouraging, & competitive softball for girls ages 9 - 10 years old based on your child's age as of January 1st, 2025. The players will learn more of the basic fundamentals and gain an advanced understanding of the game. The players will be pitching and hitting off of each other. This is a higher level and more competitive division than the farm division. Practices will start a few weeks prior to opening day and an average of 2 games will be played per week plus 2 practices per week, through Closing Day.
*The players will have to attend a mandatory evaluation and all players will be drafted by the team managers.

Senior Division
(ages 11-18)
The BFP Minor Division offers quality, encouraging, & competitive softball for girls ages 11-18 years old based on your child's age as of January 1st, 2025. This is the highest level of play in our recreational divisions. By this division the players will have a foundation and good understanding of the game. Practices will start a few weeks prior to opening day and an average of 2 games will be played per week plus 2 practices per week, through Closing Day.
*The players will have to attend a mandatory evaluation and all players will be drafted by the team managers.
